4theVille is a Cultural Heritage Development Organization dedicated to championing the legacy of The Ville. We build upon the legacy through collaborative growth, activation, and stewardship, ensuring a vibrant future for all community members.
The Ville is a historic African-American community in St. Louis, Missouri, with a rich history of African-American education, business, entertainment, and culture. Between 1870 and 1970, The Ville rose as a cultural mecca of Black St. Louis alongside its kindred neighborhood, Mill Creek Valley.
