Site Description: 2607 Cass Avenue is located adjacent to the site of the former Pruitt-Igoe Housing Project. Built in 1954 as a complex of 11-story blocks containing 2,870 apartments over a 57-acre site, the buildings were destroyed successively from 1972 to 1974.
